Tomic Wu (Wu, Dung Lung) is a professional designer in both graphic and industrial design, a writer who published a series of books “Design Tokyo” since 2006 and it has been now 6 books in total, he is also passionate in sharing his knowledge and experiences in Design, as an educator, he lectured Design at universities, and gave countless lectures, holds seminars and participated symposiums and events in many Design related venues.
Tomic was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, graduated from National Chia Tung University with a Master degree in Industrial Design. He has been hosting a broadcast on radio for 10 years since 2013, and won the Culture/Creative Industry News Award, and was shortlisted for the Golden Bell Award in 2022.
Tomic is now the founder and director of Tomic Design Atelier and owns a select shop “Kodawari Ya”, he also devoted himself in education and work as an adjunct Assistant Professor in Industrial Design at Shih Chien University, and invited to be judge for various design competitions.
Tomic consider himself as an observer of design and exhibitions, searching continuously for all possibilities of design between city and its residents.
